| Popis rubu | A highly detailed botanical study of the Tasmanian Blue Gum (Eucalyptus globulus), the floral emblem of Tasmania, occupies the majority of the reverse field. The design by Horst Hahne depicts gracefully drooping elongated lanceolate leaves, unopened buds, and two fully open blossoms with characteristically prominent stamens, rendered with exceptional naturalistic precision. The denomination '150 DOLLARS' is inscribed in bold serif lettering along the lower left field, while the engraver's initials 'HH' appear discreetly at lower right. The composition is set against a deeply mirrored proof field, and the design is framed by the same scalloped inner border as the obverse. |
