| Beschrijving keerzijde | Winged kerykeion (herald's staff of Hermes) depicted upright and centrally placed in the field, with a single transverse bar surmounted by two outward-curving wings rendered in schematic style. The magistrate's name ΔΩPI is distributed across the fields in Greek characters to either side of the staff. The reverse field is worn but the principal type remains clearly identifiable, consistent with late Hellenistic civic bronze coinage of Corycus in Cilicia. |

Corycus was a minor coastal city in Cilicia Tracheia — rough, mountainous territory that Rome never fully pacified until Pompey's campaign against the pirates in 67 BC. Much of the region's bronze coinage circulated within an economy shaped as much by piracy and the timber trade as by orthodox commerce. The SNG France references group these pieces across two consecutive catalogue numbers, suggesting at least minor die variation within the type.
