| 背面描述 | Central composition depicting King Sobhuza II in military uniform, shown in right-facing bust, raising his right hand in salute before a parade of uniformed troops carrying flags in the background. The word BAYETE (royal Swazi salutation) appears above the central scene, with INDEPENDENCE 6-9-1968 inscribed below. The outer legend reads H.M. 75TH ANNIVERSARY 1974 along the upper arc. The denomination EMALANGENI 15 EMALANGENI is inscribed at the bottom, flanked by the serial number 316, a .925 silver fineness mark, and a mint mark. Surrounding the central medallion are six decorative panels depicting symbolic motifs including traditional Swazi implements, agricultural produce, royal portraits, and industrial elements, representing the nation's heritage and development. |

Sobhuza II holds a record that may never be broken: at his death in 1982, he had reigned for just over 82 years, making him the longest-documented reign of any monarch in recorded history. He assumed the Swazi throne as an infant in 1899, though a regency governed until 1921. This 1974 issue marks the centennial of his birth — a rare occasion where the subject of a commemorative coin was still alive and ruling at the time of striking.
