| Beschrijving voorzijde | The obverse presents a large circular disc with a gold-plated finish, featuring a broad outer border decorated with a continuous Greek key (meander) pattern in red and gold. Within this border, twelve panels arranged in a ring each display a red-enamelled silhouette of one of the twelve Chinese zodiac animals. An inner ring bears the eight trigrams (bagua) symbols alternating around the circumference.
