| Reverse description | Central field depicts a reproduction of a medieval Seljuk metalwork composition: a haloed horseman, rendered in archaic style, rides a caparisoned horse facing left while holding a bird of prey on one arm. The inner circle is surrounded by an animated frieze of stylized animals, birds, and mythological creatures in dynamic poses, all executed in the manner of traditional Turkish metal engraving. The surrounding legend reads 'GELENEKSEL TURK EL SANATLARI' at upper left and 'MADEN SANATI' at lower center, with decorative rosette motifs flanking the lower inscription. |

| Additional information |
Turkey's "Metal Art" series was part of a broader push by the Turkish State Mint in the early 2000s to produce collector-oriented silver issues before the sweeping redenomination of 2005, which replaced the lira at a rate of one million to one and effectively erased denominations like this from the monetary system entirely. The face value of 15,000,000 lira, nominal at issue, became 15 new lira overnight.
