| Obverse description | Central field features a finely rendered depiction of a traditional Anatolian metalwork artifact: two symmetrical mythological creatures with feline or draconic bodies, their tails intertwined to form a heart-shaped composition, flanking a central anthropomorphic mask or deity figure. The design is inspired by ancient Seljuk-era bronze metalwork. The circular legend at upper left reads 'TURKIYE CUMHURIYETI', flanked by a crescent and star on each side, while the denomination '15.000.000 LIRA' and date '2003' arc along the lower margin. |
