The lion skin covers the crown and flows behind the neck, its mane rendered in bold, stylized striations. Above the figure, the koppa symbol (Q) appears as a civic control mark, while to the right of the horse a monogram consisting of what appears to be the letters of a local magistrate or mint official is visible in the field.
