Reverse description A dromedary camel standing to the left occupies the central field, rendered in the schematic linear style characteristic of Nabataean silver coinage. The Nabataean legend 'BDT MLK MLK NBṬW (Obodas the King, King of the Nabataeans) encircles the design, with the regnal date inscription ŠNT TLT (Year Three) appearing above at the end of the legend. Nabataean letters S and Ḥ flank the camel's neck in the field. The overall composition is typical of Nabataean regal coinage of the late 1st century BC.
