| 背面描述 | Incuse square with a beaded border enclosing the forepart of a boar's head to the left in sunken relief, rendered in the archaic incuse technique typical of late 6th-century Greek coinage. The head is depicted with a prominent almond-shaped eye, a long snout, and carefully engraved fur detailing along the neck and jaw. A stylised spiral or triskeles ornament appears in the upper left corner of the incuse field. The overall composition is set within a recessed rectangular punch, creating a strong contrast between the raised border and the sunken design. |

Ialysos, one of the three principal cities of Rhodes before the synoikism of 408 BC fused them into a single polis, produced coinage independently during this window. The city's mint output from this period is sparse, and the 1/3 stater denomination in particular survives in small numbers — most major collections hold only one or two examples. The weight standard follows the Rhodian-Milesian tradition, situating the city commercially within the broader eastern Aegean trade network of the late Archaic period.
