| Obverse description | Calf's head facing right in high relief, rendered in the archaic Ionian style with schematic anatomical detail. The muzzle, eye socket, and ear are summarily but distinctly modelled, characteristic of early electrum coinage from the region. The design fills the irregular flan, with the surface showing the typical striated texture of the hammered blank. No legend or inscription is present in the field. |

| Reverse description | Quadripartite incuse square divided into four triangular sections by diagonal ridges forming a millsail or windmill pattern, deeply impressed into the flan by a punch. Each triangular compartment displays a raised diagonal bar creating an alternating relief-and-depression effect. This incuse punch type is characteristic of early archaic Greek electrum coinage from Ionia and Lydia, serving as authentication of weight and metal. The entire reverse is occupied by this purely geometric device with no inscription or subsidiary marks. |
