The figure holds a small Nike or similar figurine in the extended right hand. The original Greek legends flanking the figure have been reduced to a series of horizontal dashes at left and right, reflecting advanced epigraphic degeneration characteristic of Celtic imitative coinage. Three pellets are arranged in the inner left field, and a trident symbol appears to the lower left, further distinguishing this type within the Kolchis imitative series. |
