Reverse description A large royal crown occupies the upper central field, positioned above the denomination expressed in Roman numerals. The king's motto is inscribed along the rim in Latin, flanking and surmounting the central devices. The date appears in the lower portion of the legend, divided into two parts by the mint master's initials, which serve as a privy mark identifying the issuing official and mint.
