| Obverse description | The obverse bears a nine-line inscription in Roman capital letters within the field, with no central effigy, entirely composed of text commemorating the coronation event. The legend reads across multiple lines, naming Franz as King of Hungary and Bohemia, Archduke of Austria, and Grand Duke of Tuscany, and recording his election and coronation as King of the Romans at Frankfurt on 14 July 1792. The date is expressed in Roman numerals (MDCCXCII) on the final line. The lettering is rendered in a bold Roman serif style characteristic of late 18th-century German medallic engraving. The coin's milled border frames the inscription neatly, with no exergue line or additional ornamental devices. |

| Reverse description | The reverse displays the personal motto of Emperor Franz II arranged above the Crown of the Holy Roman Empire, which occupies the central field. Beneath the crown, crossed imperial regalia are depicted, comprising the scepter, sword, and imperial orb arranged in an X-formation. The motto legend is inscribed in Roman capital letters, divided by decorative stops, and arcs above the crown. The composition is symmetrical and heraldic in character, consistent with the medallic coronation issues struck at Frankfurt for the 1792 coronation ceremonies. The design reflects the formal imperial iconography associated with late Holy Roman Empire numismatic art. |
