背面描述 Standing figure, likely a cult statue or draped deity, depicted frontally in the centre of the field, flanked by the Greek magistrate's name inscription divided across the field. The figure holds a long vertical sceptre or staff and is rendered in a schematic, archaising style. The Greek legend ΖΩΙΛΟΣ, the name of the issuing magistrate, appears divided to either side of the central figure.

附加信息

Kyme was the largest and wealthiest of the Aeolian cities on the western coast of Asia Minor, yet it produced surprisingly little coinage relative to its regional standing — a reflection of how thoroughly the city's economy was integrated into broader Hellenistic exchange networks where larger civic and royal issues dominated. This small bronze filled local transactional needs during a period when Kyme navigated shifting allegiances between Pergamene and, later, Roman authority.

SNG Copenhagen 109 places this type within a well-documented but modestly studied civic bronze series. The century-long date range reflects genuine uncertainty about sequential issues rather than continuous production.
