| 裏面の説明 | The reverse displays the denomination 1 1/2 PFENNIG. in bold lettering at the centre of the field, flanked and surrounded by symmetrical baroque foliate scrollwork and flowering branches typical of mid-18th century German minor coinage. Above the denomination, the abbreviated territorial title H.S.G.V.A.L.M. (Herzog zu Sachsen-Gotha und Altenburg, Landgraf in Meissen) appears along the upper arc. The year of issue 1752 is struck below the denomination, with the engraver's initials L.C.K. (Ludwig Christian Koch) placed at the very base of the design. |
