To her right stands a column surmounted by an open book, bearing the Roman numeral C (centenary), beside which are a cornucopia and a parrot; a second column behind displays the crowned Dutch lion rampant holding a sword and bundle of arrows. To the left, a rising sun emerges on the horizon behind the columns. The legend IN VIA NULLA VIA arcs across the upper field, with FAVENTE DEO in the lower exergue. The engraver's signature ARONDEAUX appears on the base line. |
