Reverse description The reverse presents a bold, mirror-like proof field divided diagonally by a sweeping curved band. The upper portion displays a cluster of cherry blossoms in high relief to the left and large stylized snowflake crystals to the right, evoking Fukushima's seasonal character. The commemorative inscription '地方自治六十年' (60 Years of Local Autonomy) is engraved across the center, with the large numeral '1000' below and 'YEN' beneath that. The Japanese era date '平成28年' (Heisei Year 28) is inscribed along the lower rim, and the series position indicator '(47/60)' identifies this as the forty-seventh issue in the sixty-coin prefectural series.
