| Obverse description | The obverse displays the national emblem of Mongolia — the Soyombo — rendered within a stylised shield at centre, with the script legend 'Mongol Bank' inscribed in cursive lettering below the emblem. Flanking the shield to the left and right are vertical inscriptions in traditional Mongolian script. The denomination '1000' appears in large numerals in the lower field, beneath which the word 'ТӨГРӨГ' is inscribed in Cyrillic. Along the lower rim, the legend 'MONGOLIA 2oz .999 SILVER' is engraved in Latin characters. The entire design is framed by a finely reeded border. |
