| Popis líce | The obverse displays the national emblem of Mongolia — the Soyombo — rendered within a stylised shield at centre, with the script legend 'Mongol Bank' inscribed in cursive lettering below the emblem. Flanking the shield to the left and right are vertical inscriptions in traditional Mongolian script. The denomination '1000' appears in large numerals in the lower field, beneath which the word 'ТӨГРӨГ' is inscribed in Cyrillic. Along the lower rim, the legend 'MONGOLIA 2oz .999 SILVER' is engraved in Latin characters. The entire design is framed by a finely reeded border. |

The Rose Trellis egg was created by Fabergé in 1907 as an Easter gift from Tsar Nicholas II to Empress Alexandra Feodorovna. One of the smaller Imperial eggs, it contains a miniature portrait of the Tsarevich Alexei as its surprise — made all the more poignant given that Alexei's hemophilia had been diagnosed just three years earlier. The egg remained with the Romanov family until the revolution and is now held at the Walters Art Museum in Baltimore.
