| 备注 |
Bangladesh's highest-denomination note has been printed domestically since the Security Printing Corporation came online in the late 1980s — a deliberate policy shift away from the foreign printers, predominantly De La Rue, that Bangladesh relied on through its first decade of independence. The 1000 Taka sits at the top of a currency hierarchy where note-based transactions still dominate, and high-denomination forgery pressure is correspondingly intense.
The security specification for this series is notably lean for a flagship note — watermark and thread only, without the optically variable ink or color-shifting features now common on comparable denominations in neighboring economies.
