| 裏面の説明 | The reverse features an engraved outline map of Europe overlaid with a latitude-and-longitude grid, against which two colour-printed applique reproductions of the Austrian 2 euro coin are affixed: the upper applique displays the common European reverse of the 2 euro coin, while the lower applique shows the Austrian national obverse bearing the effigy of Bertha von Suttner with the inscription B.V. SUTTNER. A ring of twelve five-pointed stars borders the lower periphery, evoking the European Union. The legend THE NEW EUROPEAN CURRENCY arcs along the left and upper periphery, with 2 EURO completing the inscription at right. |
