| Obverse description | The Somali national coat of arms occupies the central field, depicting a vertically striped shield bearing a five-pointed star, supported on either side by a rampant leopard. Below the shield, two crossed spears are interlaced with an olive branch, the ensemble resting on a decorative scroll. The issue date '20 22' is split across the lower field flanking the supporters.
