| 正面描述 | At left, an intaglio vignette portrays a craftsman engaged in fine metalwork, set against an intricate geometric underprint that covers the central field. The denomination "SERIBU RUPIAH" is rendered in large lettering across the centre, flanked by guilloche patterns, with an ornate blank oval cartouche at right framed by traditional Indonesian decorative motifs. Two facsimile signatures appear below the denomination text, identified by the titles GUBERNUR and DIREKTUR. |

| 备注 |
Bank Indonesia's decision to print this note domestically at Percetakan Kebayoran — rather than through the established European security printers used for earlier series — reflected a deliberate postcolonial policy shift that began in earnest after the transfer of sovereignty in 1949. The Jakarta press had limited capacity for sophisticated intaglio work, which is why the 1958 series relied primarily on watermark security rather than the more complex anti-counterfeiting measures found on contemporaneous notes from De La Rue or Joh. Enschedé.
Designer credit to Junalies is rarely documented in detail outside Indonesian archival sources, making attribution on this series unusually difficult to verify through standard Western numismatic references.
