The composition is richly embellished with an elaborate garland of roses, thistles, shamrocks, and laurel branches encircling the regalia, evoking the floral emblems of the United Kingdom. The circumferential legend reads QUEEN ELIZABETH II in the upper arc and THE 60TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE CORONATION along the lower arc, all set against deeply polished proof fields. |
