Surrounding it are six circular medallions, each containing an intaglio portrait bust of a classical female figure in profile, arranged symmetrically across the field. A large blank circular reserve occupies the left side, and a circular medallion at far right contains a standing allegorical winged figure. A red circular official cancellation stamp reading "DECRETO MINISTERIALE DEL 20 LUGLIO 1898" is applied at lower centre. |
