The bank title appears on a ribbon banner at top, with the denomination "UNA MIE LEI" on a dark panel at the foot of the note and the date "18 IUNIE 1948" below. Facsimile signatures of the Guvernator and Casier Central appear to the left and right of the central vignette respectively. |

| Description du revers | The socialist coat of arms of the Romanian People's Republic occupies the centre, surrounded by a rich intaglio vignette of wheat sheaves, sunflowers, and foliate sprays in deep blue over a multicolour guilloche underprint in salmon and teal. The denomination "UNA MIE LEI" is repeated twice in the dark panel at the foot of the note, and an anti-counterfeiting warning text appears in a circular cartouche below the arms. The bank title is inscribed on a ribbon banner at top. |
