| Descrizione del dritto | The obverse centres on a portrait vignette of Volodymyr Vernadskyi (1863–1945), the distinguished Ukrainian scientist, philosopher, and founder of the disciplines of geochemistry, biogeochemistry, and radiogeology, as well as the first president of the Ukrainian Academy of Sciences. The denomination ₴1000 appears in numerals at upper left and lower right within a multicolour guilloche underprint, alongside the inscription in Cyrillic attributing a patriotic quotation to Vernadskyi. The issuing authority legend НАЦІОНАЛЬНИЙ БАНК УКРАЇНИ runs across the upper field, with ОДНА ТИСЯЧА ГРИВЕНЬ stated in full at the foot of the note. |

| Descrizione del rovescio | The reverse carries an architectural vignette of the Presidium building of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, a mid-nineteenth-century structure designed by architect Alexander Beretti and subsequently extended with a third floor in 1892, its façade distinguished by rustication and an attic element incorporating a cast-iron grid. The issue year 2024 and the denomination ₴1000 appear within the composition, accompanied by the patriotic acclamation СЛАВА УКРАЇНІ! ГЕРОЯМ СЛАВА! The denomination in full — ОДНА ТИСЯЧА ГРИВЕНЬ — is rendered beneath the central vignette, framed by guilloche borders. |
