| 备注 |
The "type 1842 transposed" designation refers to a compositional reversal of the plate arrangement used on the earlier 1842 series — the Banque de France periodically reordered design elements between print runs as an internal anti-counterfeiting measure, rather than commissioning an entirely new plate. Jacques-Jean Barre, better known as chief engraver at the Paris Mint, contributed work to several Banque de France note series during this period alongside his medallic output.
At the 1000 Franc denomination, these notes circulated almost exclusively in commercial and interbank transactions — ordinary retail use was essentially nonexistent at that value in mid-19th century France.
