Beschrijving keerzijde A highly detailed, selectively copper-plated human skull in three-quarter right profile occupies the centre of the field, its cranium densely carved in the Tibetan tradition with intertwined figures of deities, animals, serpents, and supernatural beings rendered in bold relief. Tibetan script characters are engraved across the cheekbone and jaw area of the skull. The surrounding field is elaborately engraved with swirling Tibetan Buddhist iconographic motifs including dragons, clouds, and sacred animals, all finished in antique silver. The legend CARVED SKULL appears along the lower rim in incuse lettering.

Aanvullende informatie

Cameroon's late-2010s novelty bullion program — produced under license by the European Mint in the Netherlands, not by any Cameroonian monetary authority — used the country's issuing rights primarily as a legal vehicle for collectible silver rounds marketed to Western buyers. The skull series sits within a crowded field of similar themed issues from African nations whose nominal face values bear no relationship to domestic circulation.

The selective copper plating was applied after striking, a post-mint finishing process that creates localized color contrast. No copper enters the alloy itself.
