| Descrizione del dritto | Central field features the national coat of arms of Cameroon, displaying a shield bearing a balance scale surmounted by a five-pointed star, flanked by two crossed fasces and supported by scrolls inscribed with the bilingual motto PAIX PEACE to the left and PATRIE FATHERLAND to the right, with TRAVAIL WORK above. The date 2017 appears in the field above the shield. The upper legend reads REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN in large lettering along the rim, while the lower legend reads 1000 FRANCS CFA. The fineness mark Ag 999 appears to the lower left of the shield, and the mint mark MW to its right. The central device is set within an ornately engraved surround of Tibetan-style scrollwork and dragon motifs visible in the outer border. |

| Descrizione del rovescio | A highly detailed, selectively copper-plated human skull in three-quarter right profile occupies the centre of the field, its cranium densely carved in the Tibetan tradition with intertwined figures of deities, animals, serpents, and supernatural beings rendered in bold relief. Tibetan script characters are engraved across the cheekbone and jaw area of the skull. The surrounding field is elaborately engraved with swirling Tibetan Buddhist iconographic motifs including dragons, clouds, and sacred animals, all finished in antique silver. The legend CARVED SKULL appears along the lower rim in incuse lettering. |
