| Obverse description | Printed in blue on white paper, this note is an overprint issue on the French Indochina 100 Piastres (P#78), with a central vignette of Angkor temple statues at left. The overprint applies new denominations and place names for use in French Oceania, with the text 'PAPEETE' and 'TAHITI' prominently applied. Guilloche patterning frames the design, with warning text regarding counterfeiting under Article 139 of the Penal Code. |
