正面描述	The face of this Banque de l'Algérie 1000 Francs issue is engraved in intaglio in blue and pink tones, centred on the bold denomination legend 'MILLE FRANCS' flanked by two allegorical female figures seated at left and right, executed in the classical Belle Époque style after designs by Dupuis and Duval. Three bold black overprint bars obscure portions of the original text, with the date handstamped in the upper centre area, while serial numbers and series letters appear at the upper corners and centre. Three manuscript signatures of bank officials appear in the lower centre field below the printed signature lines.
