| Obverse description | The obverse displays the coat of arms of Cameroon at centre, depicting a shield bearing scales of justice surmounted by a star, flanked by two crossed fasces, all within a beaded inner circle. The bilingual legend REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN curves along the upper periphery, with the motto PAIX / PEACE to the left and PATRIE / FATHERLAND to the right, and TRAVAIL / WORK at the top of the central device. The denomination 1000 FRANCS CFA arcs along the lower field, with the date 2026 divided on either side of the central device. The entire design is surrounded by an elaborate decorative outer border featuring an array of festive and seasonal motifs in high relief, including Christmas trees, snowflakes, Easter eggs, Halloween pumpkins, Santa Claus figures, reindeer, gingerbread figures, ornamental balls, holly, angels, and gift boxes, rendered in a fine milled finish. |
