The Bank of Central African States issues legal tender collector coins well outside the monetary needs of its six member states — Cameroon, Central African Republic, Chad, Gabon, Equatorial Guinea, and Congo. These pieces are produced entirely for the international numismatic market and see no circulation within the issuing territory.
