The legend REPUBLIQUE CENTRAFRICAINE arcs along the upper periphery in raised Latin characters, flanked on each side by a small six-pointed star. The denomination 1000 FRANCS CFA is inscribed along the lower border. |

The legend LA TOUR EIFFEL arcs along the upper left periphery, with PARIS - 125 ANS continuing along the upper right, all in raised Latin characters against a mirror-polished field. The date 2014 appears in the lower exergue, commemorating the 125th anniversary of the tower's construction. |
