Above the monastery view, the heraldic shield of the Mekhitarist Congregation is depicted flanked by two winged putti in baroque style, with the founding year 1717 inscribed above the coat of arms. Bilingual inscriptions in Armenian and Latin identify the island as 'ՍԲ ՂԱԶԱՐ ԿՂԶԻ / SAN LAZZARO DEGLI ARMENI' and 'ՎԵՆԵՏԻԿ / VENEZIA'.
