备注

Armenia's shift to hybrid substrate for this denomination was part of a broader regional push toward polymer-cotton composites in the late 2010s, driven largely by durability data from Central Asian and Caucasian issuers dealing with high-volume low-denomination circulation abuse. The 1000 Dram sits at a practical midpoint in the Armenian series — used heavily enough to justify the substrate upgrade, but not the flagship note that typically gets the full polymer treatment first.

G+D's Leipzig facility has produced Armenian banknotes across multiple series. The hybrid construction bonds a cellulose outer layer to a polymer core, which complicates counterfeiting attempts that rely on standard paper-chemistry tests.
