Obverse description	Portrait of King Bhumibol Adulyadej (Rama IX) in three-quarter view to the right, dressed in the ceremonial robes of the Chakri dynasty, occupies the right half of the note. The centre carries the denomination numeral ๑๐๐๐ in large Thai digits within a guilloche underprint, flanked by the "รัฐบาลไทย" (Government of Thailand) inscription above and two facsimile signatures of authorising officials below. The overall colour scheme is grey-brown on a light ochre and green tinted background, with ornate floral and scroll vignettes in the lower corners.

Reverse description	The equestrian statue of King Chulalongkorn (Rama V) at the Royal Plaza is rendered in intaglio to the left, with the Ananta Samakhom Throne Hall visible in the background to the right. Below the central vignette, a facsimile of the royal proclamation abolishing slavery in Siam is reproduced, underscoring the historical significance of Rama V's reign. The denomination 1000 appears in both Arabic and Thai numerals at upper right, against a restrained grey and olive-green guilloche background.
