Obverse description Central field features the Polish state eagle (second large type) with wings spread, crowned head facing right, rendered in bold relief against a smooth field. The eagle's talons are displayed at the base, flanking the date 1960 divided on either side. The circular legend reads POLSKA RZECZPOSPOLITA LUDOWA around the upper periphery, with the denomination 100 ZŁ inscribed along the lower arc. The design reflects the Socialist-era heraldic style, with strong, stylized feather detailing characteristic of mid-20th century Polish coinage.
