| Beschrijving keerzijde | The central field features a full-colour applied image of a modern Indian electric passenger train — depicting a Vande Bharat-style electric multiple unit — shown in three-quarter perspective travelling on rails, with overhead electrification catenary masts rendered in relief above. The coloured locomotive is finished in the train's characteristic red and dark livery, creating a striking contrast against the silver-toned field. A Devanagari legend arcs along the upper periphery, with the English commemorative legend curving along the lower periphery. The commemorative date range '1925–2025' appears in the lower field, marking the centenary of railway electrification in India. |

| Aanvullende informatie |
India's railway electrification program, which began in earnest in the 1990s and accelerated dramatically after 2014 under a Ministry of Railways mandate, reached 100% broad gauge electrification of its route network in 2023 — one of the largest such infrastructure completions in rail history. The commemorative issue marks that achievement, struck in a quaternary silver alloy that the Indian Government Mint has favored for its 100-rupee collector series since the denomination's introduction.
