The issuer name 'MALDIVES' is inscribed along the lower left in Latin script, while the Dhivehi equivalent 'ދިވެހި ރާއްޖޭ' and the denomination in Thaana script appear in the lower right field. Below the mosque, the date of opening is inscribed in both Arabic-Indic numerals and Latin script: '١٤٠٥ ١٨-١١' above '11 NOVEMBER 1984'.
