Descrizione del dritto	The centre-right field carries an intaglio vignette of a traditional Dhivehi Odi dhow under sail, set against a multicolour guilloche underprint in pale green and blue tones. To the centre-left, a large vignette of coconut palms with fronds and fruit occupies the left field. The denomination numeral 100 is positioned in the upper left corner, with Thaana script inscriptions and a signature and date panel running along the lower centre.

Descrizione del rovescio	The central field carries an intaglio architectural vignette of the Medhu Ziyaaraiy tomb complex in Malé, rendered in green tones and framed by decorative guilloche borders. A tropical foliage sprig with blossoms occupies the upper left, while a large guilloche medallion bearing the numeral 100 anchors the lower left. The English legend 'One Hundred Rufiyaa' appears in the upper right, with the issuer name 'MALDIVES MONETARY AUTHORITY' running along the lower margin.
