| 正面描述 | At right, a Type VII portrait of Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi in military uniform set within an ornate guilloche frame; a watermark window occupies the left field, with serial numbers printed above and below the window area. Intricate geometric underprint covers the face, and the numeric denomination appears at all four corners. Two facsimile signatures of the Governor and Minister of Finance appear at lower centre. |

| 备注 |
The 'dark panel' designation distinguishes this issue from an earlier, lighter-toned version of the same Harrison-printed series — a chromatic shift in the security panel background significant enough to warrant separate catalog treatment. Harrison had held the Iranian contract for years by this point, and the High Wycombe facility was producing some of the most technically sophisticated intaglio work in the world during this period.
Two signature combinations are recorded. Amouzegar served as Minister of Finance under the Shah and later became Prime Minister in 1977; Farmanfarmaian was Governor of Bank Markazi before him. The transition between signatories places this issue squarely across a period of accelerating oil revenue and monetary expansion.
