Obverse description Orange guilloche lattice underprint covers the face, with the denomination expressed in both numerals and words in black letterpress. A promissory statement in black Gothic script occupies the central field, and the official circular seal of the Konversionskasse für deutsche Auslandsschulden is affixed at the left margin. The series designation and serial number appear in the upper portion of the note.

Reverse lettering Die Konversionskasse für deutsche Auslandsschulden ist durch § 2 des Gesetzes über zahlungsverbindlichkeiten gegenüber dem Ausland vom 9. Juni 1933 gegründet, § 4 ihrer Satzung lautet:

,,Die Kasse darf über die bei ihr eingezahlten Beträge auf Reichsmark lautende unverzinsliche Schuldscheine ausstellen. Die Bestimmungen über die Einlösung der Schuldscheine trifft die Reichsbank"

(Translation: The Conversion Fund for German Foreign Debts was established by Section 2 of the Law on Payment Obligations to Foreign Countries of June 9, 1933. Section 4 of its statutes reads:

"The Fund may issue non-interest-bearing promissory notes denominated in Reichsmarks for the amounts deposited with it. The provisions regarding the redemption of the promissory notes shall be determined by the Reichsbank."
