| Opschrift keerzijde | Die Einlösung der Landesrentenbriefe erfolgt auf Grund von halbjährlichen Auslosungen zum Nennwert. Die gesamten Beträge, die bis zum Schlusse des Halbjahres, in dem die Auslosung erfolgt, der Landesrentenbank durch planmäßige Tilgung der Landesrentenbankrenten und durch Kapitaltilgung zufließen, werden zur Auslosung verwendet. Von dem zur Auszahlung bestimmten Termin ab hört die Verzinsung der Landesrentenbriefe auf. Zahlstelle für Kapital- und Zinsbeträge ist die Preußische Staatsbank (Seehandlung) in Berlin. Die Bekanntgabe der ausgelosten Stücke erfolgt mindestens drei Monate vor dem zur Auszahlung bestimmten Termin im Deutschen Reichs- und Preu- ßischen Staatsanzeiger. Eine verstärkte Tilgung oder Gesamtkündigung ist bis zum 1. Januar 1940 ausgeschlossen. Ein Rückkauf zwecks Tilgung findet nicht statt. |

The Preußische Landesrentenbank was established under the 1927 Rentenbank legislation to consolidate agricultural debt in Prussia — a sprawling refinancing mechanism for struggling landowners following the hyperinflationary crisis of the early 1920s. By 1937, the institution was operating firmly within the National Socialist economic framework, issuing long-term bonds to fund rural land settlement programs that were themselves tied to ideological resettlement policy in the east.
Reichsdruckerei production at this date was operating under tight state oversight, with printing contracts centralized after 1933. The 295 × 209 mm format is unusually large even by bond standards, reflecting the documentary rather than transactional nature of the instrument — this was collateral paper, not circulation currency.
