Beschrijving keerzijde	The left portion carries an intaglio vignette of a young Nelson Mandela dressed in traditional Xhosa beaded attire, with the word MADIBA inscribed vertically beside him. A scenic view of Robben Island with the surrounding coastline and a foreground arrangement of flowers occupies the centre of the note, labelled ROBBEN ISLAND. The large numeral 100 appears at lower centre against a multicolour guilloche background, with the inscription MANDELA CENTENARY 1918–2018 along the right margin.
