| 备注 |
Bradbury Wilkinson's New Malden facility was responsible for a significant share of Scottish commercial banknote production through the 1970s and 1980s, and the Royal Bank's higher denominations in this period were among the more technically refined examples of their late output — the firm was acquired by American Bank Note Company in 1990, ending over a century of independent operation.
The £100 denomination saw limited everyday use by design. High-value Scottish notes of this era circulated primarily within banking and commercial channels rather than retail. Surviving examples in any condition are less common than the note's relatively recent issue date might suggest.
