The eagle is rendered in fine detail with outstretched wings, facing left in the traditional heraldic pose. A wreath of oak and laurel branches, tied with a ribbon at the base, frames the lower portion of the central device within the aluminium bronze ring. The curved legend ESTADOS UNIDOS MEXICANOS arcs along the upper periphery of the ring in raised Latin characters. |

The coat of arms of Tlaxcala state is depicted in an outlined cartouche in the upper centre field, with the mint mark 'Mo' to its right. The denomination $100 appears in the lower centre of the silver field, while the date 2007 is incuse in the lower portion of the aluminium bronze ring. The legend ESTADO DE TLAXCALA curves along the upper periphery of the ring. |
