备注

Pick 267 covers a long issue window — 1943 to 1957 — during which Argentina lurched through Perón's rise, his 1946 election, the nationalization of the Banco Central in 1946, and his eventual ousting in 1955. The note remained in circulation across all of it, which is worth noting: successive governments found no immediate need to replace the design, even as the political symbolism around state institutions shifted dramatically.

Chalcographic printing — intaglio, essentially — was used throughout the series, giving the surface its characteristic tactile relief. Heavy circulation takes a particular toll on intaglio-printed notes; the ink sits proud of the paper and wears at the high points first.
