100 People Guarantee Propaganda Note German Occupation of Yugoslavia

During the German occupation of Yugoslavia, occupation authorities issued propaganda notes designed to circulate alongside — or to undermine — existing Yugoslav currency. This particular piece belongs to a category of psychological warfare instruments: printed to resemble legitimate banknotes closely enough to pass briefly at a glance, but carrying messaging intended to demoralize the population or discredit the partisan movement.

The "100 People Guarantee" format was a known Allied and Axis propaganda technique — the ironic promise of collective backing by the people themselves, rather than a state or bank, was the pointed message.
